Parents Information Evening (S4-6)
There will be a parent information evening on Thursday 13th September 2018 at 6.00pm for parents with a young person in S4 to S6.
The purpose of this evening is to share with you important information about the school and our priorities in the session ahead. We will also share with you the journey that your young person is currently undertaking in Govan High School and will let you know about the curriculum and learning and teaching that is taking place. It will also allow us to highlight future pathways that your young person could potentially think about as they progress in the senior phase.
In addition, the meeting will give you the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have regarding your child’s education and we will share with you ways in which you can support your young person at home to ensure that they get the most out of their school career. There will be a particular focus on how best to support young people at home as they progress towards their SQA examinations.
The following members of staff will also be there to give you important information and discuss any matters with you:
