Do you have any memorabilia in a box in the loft?

It is our intention to have several displays depicting the life of the school from its opening in 1910. We also want our young people to learn what is was like to live in Govan and to attend GHS in the days of their parents and grandparents.

In particular we are looking for:

Photographs

Films/Videos

GHS magazines/programmes

Stories of particular events that you took part in at school such as: the end of WW2/the school's golden jubilee/the coronation of the King or Queen/school holidays.

If you have any of these or indeed anything else that you've kept for years as a memento of your time at Govan High and you are willing to allow us to take them and copy them (and of course return the original safely back to you) then please contact the school using the link below.
